Meditation Techniques and Presence Practices

Two-day seminar

"Meditation is not about becoming someone different, but about remembering who we are when the mind finally grows quiet."

We live immersed in a constant flow of stimuli, information and commitments that often takes us away from the simplest and most precious ability of all: being present. And yet within each of us there is a space of listening, stability and silence to which we can return at any moment.

This seminar is an invitation to slow down, pause and rediscover the quality of presence through meditation practices, breathing techniques, mindful movement and moments of inner listening.

It is not simply about learning a meditation technique, but about exploring meditation as a state of being: a different way of inhabiting the body, meeting the mind and living our relationship with ourselves and with what surrounds us.

The breath: the doorway to presence

The breath is the bridge that joins body and mind. Through simple conscious breathing techniques and Pranayama practices, we will explore how the breath can calm the nervous system, improve concentration, help us find our centre again and develop awareness of the present moment.

BreathWalking: walking meditation

Mindful walking in the Kundalini Yoga tradition. We will combine step, breath, rhythm, mantra and attention to turn walking into a meditation practice: an experience to reconnect with the body, the earth and your own natural rhythm.

Trataka: candle meditation

A traditional concentration practice based on gazing at a flame. It helps develop mental stability, the ability to concentrate, inner clarity and presence in observation.

The power of sound: mantra and meditation

In the yogic tradition, sound is a form of vibration that can influence our inner state. Through mantra practice we will explore the conscious repetition of sound to calm the mind, harmonise the breath, open the space of the heart and create inner balance.

The Chakra system as a map of awareness

The seven Chakras will be explored as a symbolic map of our human journey: from grounding to connection, from emotions to creativity, from personal strength to the ability to express ourselves. Through guided meditations, visualisations, mantras and energy practices, we will get in touch with these centres as tools for listening and self-knowledge.

Nature and silence

Nature offers a special space for rediscovering presence and harmony: listening, contemplative walking, connection with the elements. And silence as a practice, to observe what emerges when we let go of the constant need for stimuli and words.
